Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: North Tyneside
Contract Type: Long term
Leader Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in North Tyneside.
This role offers the opportunity to work part-time with Early Years in the morning and Reception in the afternoon, providing a dynamic and engaging experience across both age groups.
This school provides a supportive learning environment, including specialised support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, is committed to providing an atmosphere where every child is encouraged to thrive, learn, and reach their full potential.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 15:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
- Have a background working in education or relevant experience.
- Assist pupils in lessons and activities.
- Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support.
- Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities.
- Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.
