Leader Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in the Early Year's department at a Mainstream Primary School based in Northumberland. The ideal Early Years Teaching Assistant will have a qualification that is relevant to this role as well as experience in working with children on a 1:1 or small group basis.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4:30pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will have:

• An enhanced DBS on the Update service or the willingness to obtain one.
• Recent experience working with children up to 5 years of age.
• A motivating and supportive presence towards the children.
• Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• An encouraging attitude towards the students by assisting them with their needs within the classroom.
