Job Title: Inclusion Support Assistant

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long Term

Pay: £85 - £100 Per Day

Leader Education are recruiting for Inclusion Support Assistants to work in schools across Bradford specialising in supporting students aged 5-16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). Students in this school may have been permanently excluded from their past school and may present some challenging behaviours so the ideal candidate will have some experience working alongside children with SEMH needs and behavioural problems.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4pm

The successful candidate will have:

• An enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Some experience with children or young people that exhibit Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) or students that present challenging behaviour
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, compassionate personality and the ability to support the students in accessing the curriculum and classroom activities
• A great understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
• Adaptibility and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students.
