Are you an experience Maths Teacher? Are you ready for a new challenge and looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About the Role:

Leader Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our client's independent special school as a Maths Teacher.

The school is an independent school located in Lincolnshire. Our client offers specialist provision for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and those who have found mainstream education challenging.

Whether you're an experienced educator or looking to transition into teaching from a different sector such as accountancy or finance, we would love to hear from you.

Our client offers full training and support, including the opportunity to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with their in-house Learning and Development team.

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for Maths and a genuine desire to inspire young people.
  • The ability and enthusiasm to develop your teaching skills or help others develop theirs.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional Maths lessons with the support of colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills to keep the Senior Leadership Team informed about student progress.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both staff and students to support achievement and personal development.
  • A commitment to marking, assessing, and providing feedback to help students develop their skills.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A passionate and committed view of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Previous experience in the SEND sector is desirable.
  • Applicants from other sectors, such as accountancy or finance, are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is advantageous, it is not a requirement; we will support you in obtaining this qualification if successful.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Access to a blue light discount card
  • Fully funded training and qualifications for all colleagues
  • Employee benefits scheme including a wellbeing app and a range of discounts
  • Life assurance

About the School:

The school consists of small, nurturing classrooms that are fully equipped with smart boards. Our client provides a curriculum that includes both traditional subjects and vocational options. Their model of small class sizes, with 5/6 students to 2 adults, enables the delivery of a trauma-informed approach to both pastoral support and educational progress.

If you're ready to make a real difference to young people and would like to explore this opportunity further, we would love to hear from you.
