Role: Maths Teacher

Salary: £165 - £250 per day, dependant on experience

Leader Education are working in partnership with a specialist trust based in Leeds. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Maths Teacher to teach Maths subjects at Functional Skills and up to GCSE level. The pupils are identified as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, ASD, MLD, learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. The pupils are aged between 11 - 16. Must have a QTS and experience of teaching in an SEMH school or similar setting. (SEMH, SEBD, BESD, EBD)

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience of working with children and young adults with SEMH. They are looking for a passionate and caring Teacher who loves what they do. The pupils in this school have already missed a large part of their education so it is vital that you are committed and passionate to the role and pupils.

The Job:

• To teach in a therapeutic and holistic environment
• Ensure learning is accessible and inclusive for all learners.
• To plan, deliver and mark work.
• Excellent knowledge and the ability to teach all core subjects.
• To provide fun and engaging lessons, engaging heard to reach learners.

This position is to be long term to potentially permanent position after 16 weeks
