Job Title: Primary Teacher

Leader Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher for a Durham based Primary school.

This school supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) therefore, experience with SEMH, or vulnerable individuals would be highly beneficial.

This primary school is a provision that priorities helping pupils reintegrate into mainstream education. The role will involve working with Years 5 & 6.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:00am until 4pm.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
• A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience as a Primary teacher.
• Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals.
• Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning type and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
• High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
