Long-Term Temporary - Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised School Administrator to join a welcoming and busy school office in Wakefield. This long-term role requires a proactive individual who can confidently manage daily administrative tasks and act as a key point of contact for both staff and parents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Making morning phone calls to follow up on pupil absences
  • Answering and directing general phone enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records
  • Supporting day-to-day office operations including filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Liaising with school staff, parents, and external agencies in a professional manner

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm (term time only)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school office or similar administrative setting
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (SIMS experience desirable)
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
