Job Role: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Kirklees

Pay Rate: £85 - £110 Per Day

Contract Type: Long Term, Short Term, Temp to Perm and Day to Day

Leader Education are recruiting experienced TA's to work at Schools based in and around the Kirklees area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/young adults with SEND needs. Our schools can range from as young as 5 up to 18 years of age and caters for pupils with a wide range of SEND needs, including eating disorder, moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, anxiety , depression and dyslexia.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

The successful candidate will have:

• A passion for working with children with additional needs
• Experience of working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour.
• Provide calming and nurturing support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP's.
• A passion for the progress of children with SEND needs
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Moving and Handling
