Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sunderland

Leader Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant join a primary school in Sunderland.
This inclusive and welcoming school is committed to providing a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for its young learners aged 7-11.
The student body is diverse, with pupils from various cultural backgrounds, and English as an Additional Language (EAL) playing a significant role in the school community.
Staff at this academy take great pride in their pupil's ongoing achievements and are honoured to be at the heart of the community.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- Have experience working in a transferable role
- Follow personalised curriculum's and care plans to meet pupil's requirements
- Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery
- Set up lessons, equipment and activities within the classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils
