Job Title: Female PE Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract Type: Long Term
Leader Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in physical education, promoting fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport. This role requires a female teacher due to the need to supervise and provide support in the girls' changing rooms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all students.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday - Friday, full school day hours
- Start Date: Immediate start available
- Contract: Long-term role with the potential for a permanent position
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 levels
- A passion for physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities
- Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Encourage participation in extracurricular sports and activities
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and resilience through sport
- Contribute to the school's wider ethos and culture
