Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Leader Education are recruiting a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school based in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 HLTA qualification, as well as extensive experience working in primary schools.

The school caters for early years foundation stage (EYFS) through to key stage two (KS2). This school's vision is all about inspiring, believing, challenging and achieving. They sit very comfortable with their Ofsted 'good' rating, their behaviour was rated as exceptional with a happy and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 3.30pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will have:

• HLTA qualification.
• DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
• Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school.
