Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Key Stage 3 curriculum, delivering Maths and Science lessons to small groups of up to 3 students.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, tailored to individual learning needs, including qualifications at Level 2, 3, and GCSE.
  • Participate in wider school activities such as Duke of Edinburgh and off-site visits.
  • Use data effectively to assess progress and plan interventions, supporting learners who may be underachieving.
  • Collaborate with carers and professionals on student development, participating in PEP meetings and academic tutoring sessions.
  • Act as a tutor for a group of students, providing pastoral care and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified teacher status, with experience or interest in teaching SEN pupils.
  • Experience: Prior experience in teaching looked-after children or working in a therapeutic setting is beneficial but not essential.
  • Requirements: Full UK driving licence, over 21 years old, and a passion for making a difference in young people's lives.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, day shifts, no weekends.
