Position Details
Role: SEN Teacher
Location: East Heckington, Boston, Sleaford, UK
Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive lessons in Maths, English, and Science for students with diverse educational needs.
  • Provide small group and one-to-one teaching, fostering confidence, independence, and positive learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised learning plans.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and interventions to support student progress.
  • Engage in outdoor learning and adventure activities where applicable.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience in a SEND setting (five years post-QTS experience preferred).
  • Experience teaching Primary or Secondary with a strong understanding of SEND.
  • QTS/QTLS (preferred but not essential).
  • SENCO qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
