Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit passionate Teachers and Support Staff. We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for a qualified SEN Teacher in Stoke-On-Trent.
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours.
As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
- Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
- Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone who is:
- Passionate about working with students with SEND.
- Experienced - ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
- Qualified - QTS/QTLS is essential.
- Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
