Role: SEMH Teacher

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Contract Type: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Location: Doncaster

Leader Education are working in partnership with an independent SEMH school based in Doncaster. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Teacher to teach multiple subjects of the following Maths, English, Vocational, Science or PE up to KS4 level. The pupils that attend this school have been diagnosed with a variety of condition including ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other SEMH needs. The pupils are aged between 14 - 16 and are a mix of both boys and girls.

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience of working with children and young adults with SEMH. They are looking for a passionate and caring Teacher who loves what they do. The pupils in this school have already missed a large part of their education so it is vital that you are committed and passionate to the role and pupils. Must have a QTS and experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school or similar setting.

Essential skills:

  • QTS
  • Specialism in core subjects would be beneficial.
  • Experienced working with pupils EHCP's
  • Be engaging and fun.
  • Dynamic and resilient
  • Be passionate and committed to inclusive learning.
  • Be patient and understanding,
  • Be able to motivate and inspire.
  • Have a genuine passion for SEND and /or SEMH.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have a therapeutic and holistic approach.
  • Be diverse with your lessons and be able to reach learners at varying levels and abilities.

This is a permanent contract.

Contract to start in as soon as possible.
