Salary: £29,000 – £39,000 per year
Leader Education is currently recruiting for a Pastoral Lead for a specialist SEMH school in West Yorkshire.
This specialist school provides education and support for both primary and secondary aged children who have been identified as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school’s aim is to provide the best possible care and education for these pupils, with a focus on academic progression and vocational learning.
The position involves managing attendance, outreach and supporting the families alongside liaising with outside agencies. You will be helping to re-engage disengaged learners and promote positive behaviour and choices.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEMH needs and have previous experience as part of the pastoral team. Team Teach training and experience with trauma informed practice would be advantageous.
