At Leader Education, we are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children within a SEND school who cater for primary and secondary students, this school is based in Alnwick, Northumberland. The ideal TA will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
• Support the development of social and emotional skills
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
• Monitor and manage students' wellbeing and behaviour
