Job Title: 1:1 Tutor - Home Tuition

Leader Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 tutor to provide in-home tuition for students.

In this role, you will travel to pupil's homes to deliver pre-prepared lessons in Maths and English.

The hiring school specialises in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), so experience working with SEMH students or vulnerable individuals would be highly preferred.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:00am until 4pm.

The successful candidate will have:

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Follow personalised curriculum's and care plans to meet pupil's requirements.
• Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery.
• Set up lessons, equipment and activities within the classrooms.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils.
