Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary school in Durham. The school prides themselves on providing an environment where both children and members of staff can demonstrate respect and kindness to one another.

Leader Education are searching for an individual who is HLTA qualified, possessing a Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. The ideal candidate will have confidence when working with children, be approachable, and be looking for work on a full-time basis.

The normal working pattern is Monday Friday 8am - 4pm and is a long-term position, given a successful trial.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes.
• Willingness to pursue a new career in Education.
• Have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
