Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Durham
Contract: Long term temporary
Leader Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher who will bring their expertise to a Durham based SEND school.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEND and/or PMLD.
This school caters for young people aged between 2-19 with a diverse range of special educational needs and is renowned for its warm, inclusive atmosphere that empowers students to thrive.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:00am until 4pm.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience as a Primary teacher.
- Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals.
- Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning type and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
- High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
