Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Can accomodate full-time and part-time, long-term and short-term positions available

Leader Education are currently recruiting for a Supply Teacher to work across a number of diverse Secondary Schools in the Huddersfield and wider Kirklees area.

We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, flexible, and adaptable to take on either General Cover Teaching or subject specific positions. The ideal individual will have previous experience teaching General Cover or your respective subject at a Secondary level. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to cater to the individual learning styles of children is a must. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is extremely desirable, but previous teaching experience and equivalent qualifications (PTTLS, DTTLS) will also be taken into consideration.

Ideal fro someone who has recently graduated and is looking to gain more classroom experience, for those who are looking to have more control over their schedule, and for those who are looking for the joy of teaching without the stress of planning and marking.

Early Careers Teachers are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Previous experience teaching their respective subject or general cover within a Secondary School and be willing to give permission to obtain references
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning and the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
• Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
