Job Title: Year 4 Teacher
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Contract Type: Long-term role with potential to go permanent

Leader Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wakefield. This role is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact on the education and development of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and personal growth.
  • Differentiate learning activities to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of all pupils.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils, parents, and senior staff.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school initiatives and share best practices.
  • Uphold high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding practices.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to complete induction.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring children to achieve their best.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and contributing to school life.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
